Located in the heart of the Vallée d'Aulps, in Haute-Savoie, the resort of Morzine offers wide open spaces dedicated to escape and relaxation and a ski area ideal for families. It was with the opening of the "Grand Hôtel", the first hotel built in the 1920s, that the village of Morzine opened up to tourism and gradually turned to winter sports.
As winter sports continued to develop, the people of Morzine sought to create a larger area. The Avoriaz massif, close to Morzine, was exploited to create a much larger area. In addition, the proximity of Champéry and Les Crozets allowed Morzine-Avoriaz to expand the existing Portes du Soleil area even further.
Morzine opens the doors to a ski area accessible to all, with no less than 285 runs spread over 650km. This means that young and old alike can enjoy the pleasures of the mountains in the best possible conditions.
Samoëns is a village resort in Haute-Savoie, in the heart of the Grand Massif, ideally located between lakes and mountains, where nature is healthy.
After having accompanied the democratization of winter sports in the 1960s, the resort successfully banked on summer mountain tourism, taking advantage of its proximity to major communication routes. Faced with the influx of visitors, Samoëns has endeavoured to preserve the specific characteristics and character of its Savoyard environment.
Samoëns is the gateway to the Grand Massif ski area, which includes the resorts of Sixt, Morillon, Les Carroz d'Arâches and Flaine, with no less than 150 runs spread over 265 km.
The domain, accessible to all, will delight young and old, novices and experts and will guarantee good stays to its visitors so that all discover the joys of the mountain in the best conditions.
Described as "the pearl of the Alps in its glacier setting" by the famous poet Victor Hugo, the village of Combloux enjoys one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Alps on the Mont Blanc. Located in Haute-Savoie, only 4km from Megève and 30km from Chamonix, the charming village has a vast ski area and a special welcome for families. Combloux has been awarded the "Famille Plus Montagne" label since 2005.
Two ski areas are open to you:
1. The "Portes du Mont-Blanc" area with 100km of slopes from 1100 to 1930m altitude. It includes the slopes of Combloux, Megève, le Jaillet, la Giettaz and Cordon.
2. The " Evasion Mont-Blanc " domain with 445km of runs. This includes the resorts of the Portes du Mont-Blanc area as well as Saint-Gervais, les Contamines and Saint Nicolas de Véroce.
Beausoleil is a leading destination in both summer and winter, and is part of the much sought-after French Riviera.
Its geographical location is a major asset, as the town centre is a 15-minute walk from the beaches, 10 minutes from the famous Monte Carlo Casino square and 1.5 hours from the winter sports resorts. Located on the heights of Monaco, the city benefits from the influence of the Monegasque principality.
